Dr. Alyssa Ziffle

• Graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College (DVM)

Dr. Alyssa Ziffle grew up in the east-end of Ottawa. Following graduation from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023, she decided to move back to the city to be closer to family. She has always been passionate about pursuing emergency medicine and she looks forward to being part of the team at Capital City. Her passion for emergency medicine began 10 years ago when she got a job at another local ER clinic as a receptionist. She continued working in various ER hospitals throughout her undergraduate degree and vet school and fell more in love with emergency medicine as the years went by. Her other professional interests include ultrasound FAST scanning, surgery and outreach medicine. She shares her home with a ragdoll cat, Lily, and a chihuahua, Ella. She also recently adopted an Australian Shepherd puppy, Chili, and she hopes to start competing with her in dog sports soon.
