What to Expect in an Emergency
When your pet has an emergency, it can be a very stressful time. We are currently open for urgent cases (such as ear infections, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory tract infections, anal gland infections, etc). Please check with Capital City Specialty & Emergency Animal Hospital (613 244 7387) for availabilities prior to coming to the hospital. We expect to be able to provide 24/7 urgent care and emergency services by late summer 2023.
What to Expect From a Referral
Patients who are seeing one of our board-certified veterinary specialists will have a referral request submitted by their family veterinarian to provide the relevant information to our doctors. Our team will reach out to schedule an appointment for your pet once we receive this request. Our doctors will review this information as well as previously performed tests, perform their exam and formulate the best treatment plan for you and your pet. We will keep both you and your pet’s general practitioner updated throughout.
