Dr. Kara Magee is from Muskoka. She graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. After obtaining her DVM, she completed a 1-year rotating internship at the University of Saskatchewan, a 1-year medical oncology internship at The Oncology Service in Virginia, a 1-year clinical trials internship at the University of Wisconsin, and then a 3-year residency in medical oncology at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Magee obtained board certification in medical oncology from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2021.

Dr. Magee has always loved animals and was determined from a young age to become a veterinarian. She enjoys making new foods, reading, and spending time outdoors with her animals in her spare time.
